BREAKING NEWS: Sir Alex Ferguson Retires As Man Utd Manager

After 26 and a half successful years as coach of Manchester United, the club have announced that Sir Alex Ferguson will retire at the end of the current season. He retires as their longest serving coach and also the current longest serving coach in English football.

The 71 year old Scotsman has won 38 trophies in all competitions in his time at Old Trafford and is the most-successful manager in the English game and indeed on the world stage.

In his retirement, Fergie will remain a director and ambassador for the club. Speculation is rife about who is going to replace him with names like Mourinho and David Moyes being bandied around.
