2Face Idibia, Ice Prince & R2Bees Get Nominated for ‘Best International Act: Africa’ at the BET Awards 2013

It’s another year and the BET Awards is back again for it’s twelfth edition this 2013. The highly respected award show is slated to take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles this year on the 30th of June.

A few hours ago, the official BET Awards 2013 official press conference held and the nominees were announced. American Hip-Hop star, Drake has a whopping 12 nominations while prolific rappers Kendrick Lamar & 2 Chainz have 8 nominations each.

As for the coveted ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category, this year had 6 nominees:

• 2Face Idibia (Nigeria)
• Toya Delazy (South Africa)
• Donald (South Africa)
• Ice Prince (Nigeria)
• R2Bees (Ghana)
• Radio and Weasel (Uganda)

This is second time to be nominated in this category for both 2Face Idibia (who won in 2011) & Ice Prince Zamani. For the full list of nominees, {click here}
