One won’t be wrong to say that on the 18th day of April 2013, the city of Abuja was literally brought to a standstill with the premiere of
Blue Flames. Movie lovers thronged Silverbird Entertainment Centre Abuja to watch the most talked about movie in town. Produced by an award-winning director, Paul Apel Papel.
Blue Flames features an array of star actors: Nse Ikpe-Etim, Omoni Oboli, Kalu Ikeagwu, Sani Danja, Yakubu Mohammed and a host of others.
Blue Flames, a story which addresses social evils such as drug trafficking and corruption hinges on three families whose lives are immersed in twists and turns. It’s a story of love, romance, betrayal and revenge.
In the two hours running duration of the movie, laughter went to the rooftops; ovations knew no bounds and emotions became uncontrollable. The message was clear – of course, it couldn’t have been any less for a movie laced with crisp dialogue, comic situations, eye-popping suspense, breathtaking cinematic movements, engaging high definition pictures and a touching story. Little wonder, everyone went home smiling.
