A player for the Kansas City Chiefs American football team has shot himself dead at the team’s main stadium.
US media reports say the unnamed player was involved in an earlier shooting a few miles away.
According to reports, the player shot and killed his girlfriend at a KC area home around 8am local time and then drove to the Chiefs facility where he shot and killed himself.
The team released a statement saying, “We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”
