Funke Akindele, Toyin Aimakhu, and Mercy Aigbe to be Part of 'The Real Housewives' Coming to Lagos
Oh Yes! The franchise of popular TV reality series ‘The Real Housewives’ is coming to Nigeria. According to BUZZ the popular one-hour docu-drama that has gained popularity in the US for its controversial stories will be premiering in the city of Lagos in a matter of weeks.
And we will get to see Nigerian stars like Funke Akindele-Oloyede, Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson, Mercy Aigbe-Gnetry among others as the drama wives.
The Real Housewives, which franchise is owned by NBC Universal, is a reality television series, following the lives of affluent, bourgeois housewives and professional women in the suburban or urban areas of several American cities, with the suffix of the title taking on the name of that metropolitan region. Extended to 7 different franchises in the USA, with 5 international versions already in place.
